Fortis Portfolio:
Reynolds Plantation
Fortis designed and constructed, for Linger Longer Development Company, water distribution and wastewater collection infrastructure that carries effluent from Reynolds Plantation businesses and surrounding properties to the 1.0 MGD Carey Station Tertiary Treatment Plant, also designed by Fortis. As the community grows, Fortis continues to provide construction and maintenance services.
This project presented a unique challenge: Fortis' expertise in operations of water conveyance systems allowed for the relocation of existing piping and construction of new lines while keeping water supply to current residences uninterrupted.
In addition to the piping design and installation, Fortis designed and built a system that conveys the treated, reusable-quality effluent back to Reynolds Plantation where it is used to irrigate the six signature-designed golf courses as well as road right-of-ways and common areas.
