Fortis Portfolio:
Marina Bay
Fortis designed and constructed the wastewater conveyance system for Marina Bay; connected to the Marina Bay Water Reclamation Facility (WRF). The system serves over 400 residential lots. The project included design and construction of over 15,000 linear feet (LF) of low-pressure sewer lines. Fortis also designed and built the triplex pump station that takes the community's wastewater back to the Marina Bay Water Reclamation Facility. This treatment facility, designed by Fortis, was the first private wastewater treatment facility in Hall County in over 10 years.
Like many other projects completed by Fortis, the design recognized the importance of reusable water. For Marina Bay, Fortis utilized a subsurface drip system that releases the treated effluent back into the soil. This is done across 16 acres of subsurface reusable water disposal fields including the local baseball field.
